Dear Friends..
Friends depart but memories of the days enjoyed on the same bench and
same school are always everlasting. That’s why someone has rightly said,
“Friendship is the most beautiful flower in the garden of life”. Well,
I don’t know whether you would like my today’s post or not. But I wish
that you make comments I will bear even the harsh and bitter comments.
I started my career as a teacher in Sheth Jeevanlal Motichand Vinay Mandir,
Chorwad in 1996. So, obviously the students who completed their secondary
study before 1996 were unknown to me and for them so was I. I love my school.
So, I take interests in all activities carried out in our school. As interested in net surfing, I joined my school community in Orkut. The community created by Hiran Jani (USA) was my first school community to join. I didn’t know the creator as she had completed her secondary study before I joined the school. But as a teacher of the same school, she accepted my request. But from the very first day she started sending request to find the contact details of her bench mate Neela Amarseda.
Now this was a difficult job for me as I didn’t know Neela. I went through the GR of the school and got some details. Then I asked my colleagues but they gave me scattered references. Then I met Mr. Haresh Gheravda who runs tuitions class in Chorwad. He gave me her contact details. Then I sent the details to Hiren Jani who is in USA now. She called her friend Neela who is in Jamnagar now. They met. They must have refreshed their old memories. Well after that I never got any messages from them. Of course they thanked me for becoming a link to reunite them through net. But I am happy that I could be “CONNECTING FRIENDS”. This is for all of you on “Friendship Day”
HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY..........

Saturday Special
Dear friends,
I have started to teach differently on Saturdays. Friends, I don’t teach anything on Saturdays. In our school we I and my students keep Saturday as “no teaching day”.
I allow my students to speak about anything they like. They prepare a short note and present his or her views before the class. They are free to select the topic and I do not even check before they present it before the class. I allow them to make mistakes and I don’t even correct their mistakes at a time. Today I am putting the exact copy of one student’s speech. I haven’t corrected anything. Today 16 students spoke about different topics -- eco system – my mother- my country- my favourite teacher and so on. Here is the exact copy of what one student spoke about the importance of English.
Saturday Special
Name :- Sevra Nehal M. Standard 10th A
Today , I want to tell you about importance of English.
“English is an international language. Now a days, in higher education, whole study is in English and if we have not command on this language then we will have to face many problems in study and communication. Now a days all informations about new research of technology are published in English either by computer or by books and so that it is necessary to know English. Thus, English is important for our future and that will be done only when we all together will make concentration on this language”
Friends, now I want some suggestions from your part to make this venture a fruitful source for all the teachers of English.
And before I conclude let me share some msgs that I received and forwarded.
1, Some flowers grow in sun..others grow well in shade..Remember God puts us where we grow best, so thank god for every situations.. From Pranav Mehta
2, “It is always in the end of everything that makes us realize how beautiful was the beginning”
From Mr. Charania Jamnagar District
3, ”We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” From Mr. M. Makwana Jamnagar District
4, “The illiterate in the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write but those who cannot change themselves.” From Raju Mehta
